The problem
You are researching a product. The top ten videos all sound the same. “I didn’t believe it until I tried it.” Same beat. Same product shot at second 8. Same “it’s linked below.”
Someone started this. Others copied it. Some copies made money. Some did not. From the outside, they are the same video.
The origin got views because it was first. The copies got views because the format was proven. The one that converts is the one that changed the right thing.
The example
One product, one script family, six weeks.
Brief your creator on @first and you get views and no sales. Brief on @third and you get the thing that works. The lines every version shares are the frame: keep those. The line @third added is the part that sells: add that. Everything else is decoration, so change it and your version is not a clone.
Most research tools sort by views. That puts @first at the top and @third in the middle. You end up copying the one that does not sell.
Do this in Verdict
- 1Open Waves. Videos that share the same script lines are grouped into one family and drawn as a tree from the origin.
- 2The versions that clear the money line carry a CONVERTS badge. Follow that badge, not the view count.
