The problem
A script that worked for one creator was handed to five. Two of them sell with it. Three do not.
The brand wants to know if the script is good or just got lucky once. The three creators want to know what they did wrong. Everyone is looking at the same words on the same page.
The same script run by different people is the one test that separates the words from the person saying them. Line up each creator’s funnel and look at where each one loses people.
- Several creators leak at the same stage
- The script has a hole there and everyone falls through it
- Fix the script before handing it out again
- Each creator leaks somewhere different
- The script is fine
- Each creator gets her own one-line note. The two who sell are the reference
The example
Five creators, one script, where each one leaks.
Three leaks, three different stages. That is delivery, not the script. C opens on herself, D says the cart out loud, E holds the answer until second six. Three one-line notes, and none of them is “rewrite the script.”
Now imagine C, D and E all red at Click. Same stage, three people. That would be the script: the ask is missing from the words, and A and B are adding it on their own. One edit to the script, nothing to any creator.
Do this in Verdict
- 1Open Scripts and pick the script. With more than one creator running it, a banner reads either “likely a script problem, not execution” with the shared stage named, or “execution issues, not the script.”
- 2Below it, the Execution by creator table is the four funnels above, one row per creator, weak stage marked.
- 3Send each creator only her row. The two reference creators get nothing to fix.
